Hill Palace Archaeological Museum, Thripunithura

Hill Palace Museum was the official residence of the erstwhile rulers of Kochi.

Built in 1865, it is now famous for being a full-fledged Ethno-Archaeological Museum and Kerala's first ever Heritage Museum. The palace complex itself comprises 49 buildings and is built in the traditional Kerala style of architecture. It has over 52 acres of terraced land around it.

Sree Poornathrayeesa Temple

Sree Poornathrayeesa Temple is one of the eminent temples in Kerala. The presiding deity of this temple is Maha Vishnu, which is worshipped in the form of Santhanagopala Murthy. Here, Santhanagopalamoorthy means "savior of Infants" and the Lord Vishnu is found here in a sitting posture under the shade of five caps of Anantha. It's a unique posture which is completely different from other Vishnu temples where the Lord is usually found in a recumbent posture on the divine serpent.
